Painting for me is still a matter of chance and luck.  Both are more or less on my side this time, and I like this one a lot.  (BTW, that is the Administration Building, in case no one could recognize.)

I chatted with a mother and son of South Asian origin when I did my practice just downstairs from home. The mother was a visual art teacher back home. We talked a bit and I told her where to buy the water brushes and they gave me the rose. What a lovely day. Hope to see them around.

(P.S. That blue thing is for ventilation of the MTR station, I think.)

Alexei Maximovich Peshkov revisited

The one in the left was drawn in 2011 and the other one this summer. Again, it proves my pencil skill is getting worse, and also, I am no doubt a cubist. I even made that a cubist's plaster cast.

Haven't posted my pencil drawing for a long long time. The left was drawn in 2012 and the right this spring. It seems my pencil is getting worse :(

Laocoön is a Trojan priest of Poseidon. He warned his fellow Trojans against the wooden horse presented to the city by the Greeks.
