#池上飯包故事館 is just around the corner of the hostel I stayed. It's so close that I might have walked pass a thousand times, but have not really played a good visit.

Finally have the time to arrange photos taken from my Chishang trip last year, and develop them into a (mostly) water colour series.

池上福原打鐵工坊

Last sketch in Chishang before departing on Tuesday. I wasn't so confident on the spot, so the colour was added later.

The shop owner went out to take a look of my doing and said "everyone does have their own skills". This line comes from him is extra convincing.

[Remark: Many people have painted and photographed his workshop. Mine is just very elementary level.]

It’s hot when there’s sun that I had to change to shorts. It’s much cooler from later afternoon that I had to pull up my jacket with the hat on. It should be quite a scene seeing me like that sitting in a corner sketching.

Sketching the interior is not quite my favourite. But I guess one doesn't have much choice when it's too hot outside.

(They serve good coffee, BTW)

Chishang Station

It's busier than I expected.  Crowded with people and pick-up cars every time when a train arrives or about to depart.

Those 2 taxis stuck in my way so I have to capture them. When I coloured, they were gone (as expected), so I decided to leave them colourless.

Now, it's lunch time.

I like taking night flight. The problem with it is you can't really see the plane. (The other side is my cake and tea dinner. I am still too full from lunch.)
