Holy Cross Church

Location sketch requires good programme planning.

I went to sketch the church late afternoon on Christmas day.  It became dark very soon and people of the church also started preparing for their fun fair.  And so I left planning to return the following day.

The biggest mistake was made at this point – I didn’t check the details of the fun fair, taking it for granted that that would be in the same evening.

And so I went again on Boxing Day, this time in the morning.  And BINGO!!  The fun fair was actually held on Boxing Day!!!!

And so I left and returned again a week after to finish the sketch……
